Age at Death:
Christian Taylor was the son of Adrian Taylor Sr. and Tina Taylor. He graduated from Mansfield High School where he played varsity football. Christian was a sophomore attending Angelo State and he played defensive back for the Angelo State Rams football team.
In the early morning hours of August 7, 2015 Christian broke into a car dealership in Arlington, TX. He was found on surveillance video wandering around the dealership parking lot and smashing car windows. A security guard called 911 and six Arlington Police officers arrived on the scene. A rookie police officer pursued Christian inside the dealership on his own. What occurred next is uncertain. The police claim Christian refused to comply with the officer's orders and began to advance toward the officer. The officer shot him from seven feet away. He was shot three times and killed. Autopsy revealed a mixture of drugs in his system at the time of his death including a powerful hallucinogen, N-Bomb. He was unarmed.
Was justice served?
No. The officer was fired four days after the shooting death of Christian Taylor, but a grand jury did not charge him with a crime.
