Mary Truxillo was turning onto a local street when two Jefferson Parish Sheriff deputies crashed into her while going through the intersection. Investigators told the news that the deputies were responding to a 911 call minutes before the crash happened. Nearby neighbors on the street came out and tried to save Mary but it was too late.
